Renovation Project

The renovation project is being done in three phases. While the renovation is taking place, the Reentry Program is on hold until the facility remodel is complete.

Phase #1

Obtain zoning changes and permits for the reno project.

Remove the carpet and demo the old stage in the old worship center

Install 1,800 sq/ft of laminate flooring.

Demo the old nursery and prep for plumbing changes.

Install laminate flooring in current bathrooms and repaint walls.

Volunteer staff training

Phase 1 is underway because of a grant from our friends at the Veteran's United Foundation.

Everyone Deserves

Their Own Space!

In jail or prison, inmates are housed in cells, sleeping on a bunk bed, with little privacy.

No Bunk Beds: Every Cadet has his own bed.

Cubical Space: Each cubical has power and a lamp.

Pony Walls Divide Space: allowing privacy and accountability.

Lockers are provided for extra storage.

28 beds total

Washroom Conversion

What was once a nursery for babies and small children is now a washroom with three showers and space to prepare for the day for those in our program.

Phase #2

Phase 2 will follow the work already done once additional funding is raised.

Phase 2 will complete the renovation project for the showers and washroom.

Electrical ran to each sleeping pod (group of four beds).

The dorm room will be built, and beds will be created from recycled and reclaimed wood. Old Pews will now be bed frames.

New plumbing for showers and installation of shower stalls.

Electrical and plumbing ran for three stackable washers and dryers in the old fellowship hall.

On-going volunteer and staff development.

Phase #3

Kitchen Remodel and Operations

During this phase, we will begin working on the operational need to accommodate the men in the program. That includes feeding them, teaching them, and supporting the mission.

Kitchen upgrade: Stainless steel prep table, three-stage wash sink, and food service items (buffet table, etc.)

Epoxy floor in dining hall.

New Refrigerators and Freezers.

Upgrade our current food storage area.

Remodel learning center and computer lab. Purchase computers and software licenses.

Purchase curriculum for cadets.

Begin intake of program participants.
