Renovation Project
The renovation project is being done in three phases. While the renovation is taking place, the Reentry Program is on hold until the facility remodel is complete.
Phase #1

Obtain zoning changes and permits for the renovation project.

Demo and Remodel Phase 1 to dorm and washroom.

Volunteer staff training
A Federal Homeland Security Grant will fund facility upgrades related to facility hardening. New cameras, exterior doors, emergency lighting will be installed.

Phase 1 is underway because of a grant from our friends at the Veteran's United Foundation.

Everyone Deserves
Their Own Space!
In jail or prison, inmates are housed in cells, sleeping on a bunk bed, with little privacy. The design has trauma-informed care in mind.

No Bunk Beds: Every Cadet has his own bed.

Cubical Space: Each cubical has power and a lamp.

Pony Walls Divide Space: allowing privacy and accountability.

Lockers are provided for extra storage.

28+ beds total

Washroom Conversion
What was once a nursery for babies and small children is now a washroom with three showers and space to prepare for the day for those in our program. Each shower will be TIC-designed to give the man a private place to change.
Phase #2
Phase 2 will follow the work already done once additional funding is raised through the 2.5 in 2025 Campaign.

Phase 2 will complete the renovation project.

Three new stack-able washers and dryers.

On-going volunteer and staff development.

Phase #3
Kitchen Remodel and Operations
During this phase, we will begin working on the operational need to accommodate the men in the program. That includes feeding them, teaching them, and supporting the mission.

Kitchen upgrade: Stainless steel prep table, three-stage wash sink, and food service items (buffet table, etc.)

Epoxy floor in dining hall.

New Refrigerators and Freezers.

Develop a career education and readiness program.

Purchase curriculum for cadets.
